Olmert and Netanyahu

During the 2006 Israeli parliamentary election, acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert took over Ariel Sharon's centric Kadima party, after Sharon suffered a stroke and went into a coma.

Olmert lead the Kadima party as Sharon's legacy, and captured the largest share of votes.
